Based in Heilbronn, near Stuttgart. I‘m a freelance filmmaker, since 2013. I have been working as a Director of Photography since 2018. Most of my work is in the field of car commercials, but i‘m focusing on other personal projects, to learn more every single day.
As a DP I‘m always searching for the best camera angles to get the perfect frame. Also I‘m thinking about which camera movement or style will fit for specific shots and help telling the story. In terms of lighting i like to keep things simple but effective, so we can achieve stunning looking images in a short amount of time.
Since 2020, as the main field right now are car commercials - I‘m one of few DPs in Germany who owns a camera chase car for car to car shootings. If you‘re searching for a DP for your car commercial, you don‘t have to search for a chase car seperatly. You can book all from a single source.

CHASE CAR
This chase car is a budget friendly alternative for projects where you don't necessarily need a Russian Arm car. It is an Audi A4 Avant with a classic speedrail rig attached, which is mounted to a roof rack and tow hooks. Therefore the chase car doesn‘t have to be transported by a trailer. The entire equipment fits into it. The car is black with covered front and rear lamps, to minimize the reflections in the hero car.
To get the smoothest shots we use the Flowcine Blackarm with Tranquilizer and a Ronin 2. The hole setup can be mounted to the front and back, so you can get front and rear shots of your hero car.*
With our rain deflector we have the ability to shoot in bad weather situations if necessary.
We are using the RED DSMC2 Gemini 5K, to get that high quality footage you expect.
We can also mount other cameras to our setup for example an Alexa Mini or the camera of your upcoming project.
*Front setup can only be used on closed roads
